Early November Snow

Elevations around 6,000 feet received anywhere from 6 to 11 inches of new snow last night.  That should mean much more on the Pacific Crest.  Looks like round one delivered more than expected.  More snow is expected Saturday evening.

Squaw Valley the morning of November 4. Truckee residences at around 6,100 feet received more snow than Squaw.

Snow removal in the Squaw parking lot this morning.

Man, I can’t wait to get out to Tahoe again. Last season was epic. I have a picture taken from about the same spot at the parking lot in Squaw. Only difference is there was a lot more snow. Hopefully it keeps on dumping this year.

  2. Your pictures are great. I can’t wait for the season either. I think we are in for a great season this year, as the snow is already starting early. Even got 2 feet already in Running Springs, CA, at my cabin, so we should have a great year!
